“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

Isaiah 40:29-31

Have you ever wondered what makes eagles different from other birds? They soar on the wind, rather than flap with their wings. Because of this they can fly where no other bird can fly.

This is the promise of God for you, that if you wait upon the Lord, and trust His will and His time and His way, you don’t need to fight the battle. If the Holy Ghost takes you to a place of battle, He will not leave you without victory, He will manifest His strength in your weakness and you will rise, you will soar above all the obstacles that come your way.

Are you tired? Are you frustrated? Are you faint in your faith?

Like David says in Psalm 61:2, when you put your trust in God, the mighty hand of God will take you on top of the rock that is higher than you in the place of safety, under the shadow of the Almighty God.  Therefore whatever your situation is, speak the Word of faith and that Word will carry beyond sense knowledge into the very presence of God.

As the wind lifts up the eagles high above the sky, in the same way, faith in Christ will lift you up above the realm of your own impossibilities and makes Christ’s possibilities available for you.

SECURE YOUR HEART

A house built on the rock stands forever.
By faith, we begin to look not at our weakness but believe that we have the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Righteousness is right standing before God. In His presence, your heart is secured.

SHOWER YOUR SPIRIT

Despite taking great care of our physical appearance, so many of us are discouraged, frustrated, fearful, angry, bitter and offended inside – and this is what shows through our words and behaviour, no matter how much we try and hide it. Why? Because our heart is not cleansed and our mind not refreshed.

CONVICTED BY YOUR CONSCIENCE

Often, the loudest rebuke is the one from the inside of us. Because the motive of our heart cannot be concealed, and no one knows us better than we do ourselves. So, if we are convicted by our conscience, there is hope for us.
