THE POTTER’S HANDS

“So I went down to the potter’s house, and I saw him working at the wheel. But the pot he was shaping from the clay was marred in his hands; so the potter formed it into another pot, shaping it as seemed best to him.”

(Jeremiah 18:3-4)

Do you know you are a work of art? God never created failure. God never created pain. God never created fear.  Are you ready to be the person God created you to be? You were created to make a difference in your world and what causes you to make a difference is within you. Ask the Producer and He will tell you what it takes to produce life. Ask the Potter and He will tell you the value of the process.

God has a purpose for every stage of your life, but many have changed the history of their lives because of their inability to see beyond their immediate situation. Never doubt God’s purpose for your life. When trouble comes, keep calm and be determined. You are safe in God’s strong hands.

The Hand that formed you from the dust

Is the Hand that lights the fire to melt you

Is the same Hand that rebuilds you stone by stone

And that fills you up anew.

When we lift up our hands to the Lord, the Potter’s hands have room to work. Do God’s hands have room to work in your life? The Potter cannot force you; you have to be willing to be melted, remoulded and filled before you can be suitable for His purpose. Are you willing to submit? What stage are you in? Are you being melted? Are you being remoulded? Are you being filled for His glory? “For it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfil his good purpose.” (Philippians 2:13) Whatever stage you are in, your heart is the workshop, so trust that you are in the Potter’s hands.

LILIES OF THE FIELD

“Worry interferes with God’s Spirit in our lives and destroys our sense of judgment. The human spirit when free from the burden of worry, fear and sin is sensitive to the Spirit of God. Your heart needs to be at its best for God before you can pray. .”

SERVANT OF ALL

“Jesus was very clear that the path to greatness lay in serving others by obeying God. Although He was the Son of God, He learned obedience by what He suffered, obedience to His Father’s will. It was in obedience to God that Jesus became a servant of all.”

THE LIGHT OF LIFE

“Sometimes the beauty of life is hidden in the dark ; it is already there for those who discover it in the light of revelation.”
