“Can a woman forget her nursing child,

and not have compassion on the son of her womb?

Surely they may forget,

yet I will not forget you.

See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands;”

Isaiah 49:15-16

God always wants to be involved in our lives as mothers. He wants to be involved in all departments of our lives, but it is very common for us as we grow up, to believe with the smartness, intelligence, skill, resources we have, with the position we occupy, that we can do it all alone and gradually, we begin to forget God in our daily lives. How sad it is to only see God as your Sovereign God, and not as a child sees their father, their mother. If we only begin to seek the face of God when life becomes uncertain, what then is the position of God when things seem to be smooth?

God loves you. Like a mother, He wants to be there in each stage of our lives. When times are easy and when times are hard, He wants to be there with you. He wants to have a love relationship with you. But why do many want to love God and feel loved by God only when times are difficult? They seem to only need God to change their challenging situation. But when times are easy, they are too busy to keep their relationship with God. What about you?

When times become hard, you are not forgotten by God. Sometimes, because of His deep love for you, He may allow you to pass through hard moments so you can get back on track, you can remember the God who loves you. In the Old Testament, God’s people exchanged their God for idols and other gods. And yet, when they came and acknowledged their sins before God, 2 Chronicles 30:9 says, “…for the Lord your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn His face from you if you return to Him,” for you have been inscribed on the palm of God’s hands.

Although God’s love for us in so unlimited, sometimes He takes His time to grant you your request, because His plan of success for you is unto eternity. When God is taking His time, He may seem to be quiet but God is the God who remembers. Afterall, “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?” (Romans 8:35) Seek Him with all your heart and you will begin to see the hands of God, on which your name is inscribed, in your life.

HE WILL GIVE YOU WHAT YOU HAVE NOT ASKED

“So God said to him, “Since you have asked for this and not for long life or wealth for yourself, nor have asked for the death of your enemies but for discernment in administering justice, I will do what you have asked.” 1 Kings 3:11-12
God was pleased that Solomon requested divine wisdom to carry out his God-given assignment instead of earthly riches or fame, and blessed him more than he could imagine.
In the same way, God tests our hearts to reward us, to see what we truly seek.”

WRITTEN IN HEAVEN

“However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.” Luke 10:20
When the seventy-two disciples returned with joy from their mission, Jesus warned them that the source of their joy should come not from the visible results of the Spirit’s power, but the Holy Spirit Himself, who has sealed for Christ, and written our name in Heaven.”

REVIVE ME

“As long as you have the gift of life, make sure your spirit is revived and this is something only the Spirit of God can do through His Word, which is spirit and life (John 6:63).

* Oh Holy Spirit, breath of God, breathe in me the breath of God!
* Oh Holy Spirit, through whom all things were created, create in me a new life, a new beginning!.”
