“Surely the righteous will never be shaken;
    they will be remembered forever.
They will have no fear of bad news;
    their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord.
Their hearts are secure, they will have no fear”

Psalm 112:6-8

Any time we leave the house, we make sure we lock the door. The possessions and resources that are so valuable to us, we take effort, time and money to secure them in a safe place. But what about the engine of our life, our heart?

Remember our heart is the treasury of heavenly resources that brings heavenly blessings. The neglect of your heart is the neglect of your blessing and peace.

If our heart is full of fear and worry and anxiety, we cannot even enjoy the blessings around us.

How can we secure our heart? Is your house safe? The world we live in will always be unsteady, but the Bible tells us that the righteous will never be shaken. They have no fear of bad news. This is because their heart is secure. A house built on the rock stands forever.

By faith, we begin to look not at our weakness but believe that we have the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Righteousness is right standing before God. In His presence, your heart is secured.

SHOWER YOUR SPIRIT

Despite taking great care of our physical appearance, so many of us are discouraged, frustrated, fearful, angry, bitter and offended inside – and this is what shows through our words and behaviour, no matter how much we try and hide it. Why? Because our heart is not cleansed and our mind not refreshed.

CONVICTED BY YOUR CONSCIENCE

Often, the loudest rebuke is the one from the inside of us. Because the motive of our heart cannot be concealed, and no one knows us better than we do ourselves. So, if we are convicted by our conscience, there is hope for us.

LISTEN TO HIM

Jesus’ mission on earth was to preach the Good news of the Kingdom of God. The signs and wonders He performed was for people to believe His words. Every word of Jesus is spirit and life. Are you listening to Him?
