“Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, but few things are needed—or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.”

Luke 10:41-42

You are a spiritual being. The best choice can only be made by your heart submitting to the Spirit of God – and it can never be taken away from you. It is a choice to be anchored on the Word of God. It is a choice that will enrich your soul forever because God’s Word points to eternity. Great thoughts lead to great decisions that will benefit your life; in other words, your spiritual life is the engine that carries you to a place of significance. Therefore, do what the best do: look inwardly and think deep because a heart decision brings God’s idea, an idea with a difference.

The wrong choice comes from distractions on the outside, negative influences, anxious burdens weighing on your spirit but the best choice springs from deep within you.

This was the choice that Daniel made when he chose to dedicate himself to prayer. (Daniel 6) He didn’t just begin to pray when things were hard and even in the face of life’s threat, his consistency in prayer and faithfulness flowed from deep within. That is why no natural situation could shut him out of the throne of mercy and communion with God.

Life does not just happen to us; it’s all about the choices we make and how we respond to situations. Life’s biggest decision is what to do with Jesus Christ, and life’s second biggest decision is to follow His leading daily. God is richer than our dreams; that is why when we know how much we need God, we will make the best choice. To choose right, think deep.

OWNER OF MY SOUL

“What is the value of human life? No matter how much wealth we possess, or possessions we own in this life, we can never ever have enough to be the owners of our soul. It is only God who determines the beginning and the end of life and it is only Him who can redeem our soul, to give us eternal life.”

CONTINUALLY

“The Bible says in Psalm 121:3 that God never closes His eyes on us, that He watches over us, He who guards us does not slumber nor sleep. If He is with us all the time why then do so many of us only seek refuge in Him occasionally?”

YOUR HEART IS IN HIS HANDS

“Do you feel like giving up while praying for situations or people? Don’t lose heart because prayer is not empty words but an acknowledgment that there is a superior realm that controls the visible and invisible worlds. And the King of this realm is the king of your heart. When He says yes, no one can say no.”
