“Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Won’t you first sit down and estimate the cost to see if you have enough money to complete it? For if you lay the foundation and are not able to finish it, everyone who sees it will ridicule you, saying, ‘This person began to build and wasn’t able to finish.”

Luke 14:28-30

Are you ready to give up your life here on earth and gain eternal life in Heaven?

It is the cost of what you have given up for God that makes His relationship so valuable to you. If you examine your life, you will know that if you fight for something, you will not want to lose it. Therefore, it is the constant battle that you fight in your heart between faith and doubt, between humility and pride, between light and darkness that makes the peace of Christ so valuable to you. It is the storm in your heart that makes the calm so meaningful to you.

It is only with Jesus in your life that you can remain steady in this unsteady world. That is why it is the thorns and trials that constitute the beauty in our journey to eternity because they strengthen our spiritual life. Salvation is more than just saying, “Lord Jesus, I am a sinner, come into my heart, wash me with your precious Blood, save my soul today”, then going on your merry way. Salvation is a total and complete commitment to Jesus.

That is why the moment we are truly saved, we are engaged in a phenomenal battle (John 15:18-22). Till the end of our days, we will not be out of touch; satan can still reach us but cannot destroy us. If you know this decision to follow Jesus is for eternity, you will give your heart to it.

GOD CAN USE ANYONE

“Sometimes our lives are so centred on what we ourselves are going through – how we are doing, how we are treated, what our situation looks like, that we forget that God doesn’t look at people the same way we do. He holds all men’s hearts in His hands and can use anyone to bring to pass His purpose.
Someone you see as a thorn in your flesh today can be your helper tomorrow – that is why tomorrow is a mystery.”

GREAT MEN HAVE GREAT HABITS

“So God said to him, “Since you have asked for this and not for long life or wealth for yourself, nor have asked for the death of your enemies but for discernment in administering justice, I will do what you have asked.” 1 Kings 3:11-12
God was pleased that Solomon requested divine wisdom to carry out his God-given assignment instead of earthly riches or fame, and blessed him more than he could imagine.
In the same way, God tests our hearts to reward us, to see what we truly seek.”

HE WILL GIVE YOU WHAT YOU HAVE NOT ASKED
