“Search me, God, and know my heart;
    test me and know my anxious thoughts.
See if there is any offensive way in me,
    and lead me in the way everlasting.”

Psalm 139:23-24

Do you know that God searches our heart? Because only He can see the true motivation behind what we do. What will a search of your heart reveal? Anxious thoughts? Fear? Doubt? Impatience? Anger? Worry?

Our life is what our thoughts make it. When we come to God with our lips, He listens to our heart. The Bible says in 2 Chronicles 16:9 that the eyes of the Lord roam to and fro strengthening those hearts who are loyal to Him.

We cannot have a heart entirely for God if we have thoughts of anxiety and offence because worry interferes with God’s Spirit. The psalmist knew this. That is why he asked God to search, know and test his heart so that he could know everlasting life.

Ask the Spirit of the living God to search your heart and remove any root of sin so that you may love what is holy, in Jesus’ name.

CONVICTED BY YOUR CONSCIENCE

Often, the loudest rebuke is the one from the inside of us. Because the motive of our heart cannot be concealed, and no one knows us better than we do ourselves. So, if we are convicted by our conscience, there is hope for us.

LISTEN TO HIM

Jesus’ mission on earth was to preach the Good news of the Kingdom of God. The signs and wonders He performed was for people to believe His words. Every word of Jesus is spirit and life. Are you listening to Him?

MY STRONGHOLD

When Jesus said in Mark 5:36, ‘Do not be afraid; only believe,’ He showed us where our stronghold is. No matter what statistics say, no matter what your situation says, no matter what the voice of your society says, we have no other refuge than this command of Jesus, ‘Only believe.’
