Category: Remain In Him

GOD’S LIFT

“IIf you enter a lift to go to the penthouse of a skyscraper building, how many of you would first press to go to down to the underground car park? No one! Yet, in God’s way of doing things, it is our job to submit and humble ourselves under Him and His job to lift us up in His time and in His way. In other words, humility is God’s lift for elevation.”

TICKET TO ETERNITY

“In Matthew 22:21 Jesus said, “So give back to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.” What is of God must return to Him. With the Word of God in your heart, you can one day return to Him in the world of glory.”

THE PILGRIMAGE

“It is only when we know that Heaven is our eternal home that the spiritual strength comes to go through every trial of life and come out stronger. As a child of God, life on this earth is a pilgrimage – where we honour God in each mountain and valley and each season of our lives, and we know that the destination is to be with Jesus forever.”

PEARL OF GREAT PRICE

“Psalm 56:8-9 (NKJV) says, “You number my wanderings; put my tears into Your bottle; are they not in Your book? When I cry out to You, then my enemies will turn back; this I know, because God is for me.”
God never forgets. People don’t want to feel pain in this life but want to be appreciated. Do you know that what makes a pearl is tears? And that is the reason pearls are priceless. In the same way, you need to be melted, moulded and filled before you can be a pearl of usefulness for Christ.”

BE STILL

“In this world of constant activity and noise, many long for silence, for the peace of nature. However, even amidst serenity and peace on the outside, the storm often still rages within. Is there a storm raging within your heart? The storm of worry, anxiety, negative thoughts, anger, offense, fear and doubt? It is in the stillness of our soul that we can know God, not by our feelings but by faith.”

THE DEBT OF LOVE

“It is God’s will that you remember that you have sinned and have been forgiven for it is that remembrance that creates in you a merciful and compassionate heart towards others. Loving your enemy is always unreasonable until you come to realise that you yourself were an enemy of God before He forgave you. There is a debt of love that we owe to each and everyone. Don’t be like the ungrateful servant in Matthew 18:21-35, who was blinded to his true position and refused to forgive others when he had been forgiven so much.

Make a decision today to love the unlovable, to forgive those who have hurt you, because by doing so, you are paying the debt of love..”
