LISTEN TO YOUR HEART

“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” Proverbs 4:23

There are many millionaires, wealthy people but their heart never said they are rich. You can see someone today and to you he is great but his heart is saying he is not great.

What your heart is telling you is what you are.  Look at your life – many times, people see you as happy whereas your heart is telling you that you are sad and that sadness translates to everything you do. If you want to read the Bible, your heart tells you not to read. If you are in the House of God, your heart will tell you are not there. When your heart begins to think, ‘I don’t know what will happen to me next’, you become sick. What is your heart telling you?

The heart is the contact point for the Holy Spirit and for evil spirits. That is why you have to capture your heart for God (2 Corinthians 10:5). How can you capture your heart? By meditation. Most of us have been living in the thinking processing but do not know how to meditate. There is a difference. Meditation is about God; thinking is about our problems. What are you thinking about? Your life is what you think about all day long. People can see you as a poor man but if your heart is telling you “you are great” indeed, you are great.

King Solomon said, “He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, And he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city.” (Proverbs 16:32)

You can start today to arrest your heart and get it to your side by meditating on God’s Word. The more you think about what you read in the Bible, the more familiar you become with God’s voice in your heart. That is why you should listen to your heart because that is where God speaks to you.

FIX YOUR FOCUS

The biggest temptation we face as believers is to look at life, it’s situations and adversities from a human point of view.

THE GREATEST MIRACLE

Most of us do not value things that come to us freely and yet the greatest things in life are free – the love of God and love of the heart.

THE PROMISED LAND

Are you wandering in the desert of life’s ups and downs?
Are you facing the consequences of disobedience to God’s Word?
Are you tempted right now to complain or give up believing in God’s promise?
